Is the conference taking place in person?
Yes, this conference will be a fully in-person conference at the UPV Campus Gandía- Universitat Politècnica de València, Carrer del Paranimf, 1, 46730 Gandía, Valencia, in Spain.
The venue is fully accessible.
How much is the conference participation fee?
To enable the conference to be as accessible to as many people as possible the following conference participation fees apply:
€300 for non-members coming from high GDP countries
€250 for EASPD members coming from high GDP countries
€150 for non-members coming from low GDP countries*
€100 for EASPD members coming from low GDP countries*
*Lower GDP countries**:
Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo***, Latvia, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine.

What is included in the conference participation fee?
The conference fee will include access to the activities within the conference programme, including the panel and workshop sessions, lunches and refreshments on 15-16 May, and a conference dinner on Thursday 15 May.
Can I register for only one day of the conference?
No. Every participant has to register for both days, regardless of which workshops they will attend.
Do I have to pay the full fee if I only want to attend one workshop?
Yes. It is a two-day event, and you will have to pay the whole fee, regardless of how many workshops you attend.
Can I purchase tickets on arrival at the conference?
No. The tickets have to be purchased online beforehand. Please note that we only accept payments by card.
Will EASPD pay for the hotel rooms of participants?
No. All participants will have to book their own accomodation.
Can external guests participate?
Yes, this event is open to all.
Where will the Conference Dinner be held?
The official conference dinner will be held on 15 May at Restaurante Boga.

Restaurante Boga is an inclusive restaurant and the venue is fully accessible.
Transportation to the dinner venue can be done with coordinated buses with pick-up times and locations to be detailed, or by taxi or on the Gandía public bus.

What is the currency in Spain?
National currency in Spain is the Euro (EUR), with 1 EUR = 100 cents. Credit cards are widely accepted across the country, including restaurants, hotels, bars and shops. Which plug types are used in Spain?
In Spain, the standard electricity supply is 230 V at 50 Hz135. The plugs used are type C and F, which have two round pins. If your appliances use a different plug, such as a three-pin rectangular plug, you will need an adapter. A standard voltage converter may be necessary if your appliances are not compatible with 230V.

Pharmacies are available in the centre of Gandía and near the conference venue. Most are open between 08:30 and 21:00, with a different opening hours schedule for weekends and public holidays.
