Each participant is responsible for making his or her own accommodation arrangements. Please note that only a limited number of rooms is allocated thus it is on first come first served basis. Wheelchair accessible bedrooms are also available on first-come first-served basis.b

Participants arriving at the Vienna International Airport Schwechat can get to the Hotel Double Tree by Hilton via taxi (approximately 50 EUR) or via bus Slovak Lines https://www.slovaklines.sk/en/ - approx 15 Eur + taxi approx 10 Eur.
Distance from the airport to the conference venue by car is of around 5.3km and it takes approximately 12 minutes by car at off peak hours. Taxi service can either be pre-booked online directly with one of the local service providers, via App (such as e-cabs, Uber and Bolt), or through a taxi counter within the Arrivals section of the Bratislava International Airport. Public transport buses also leave Bratislava International Airport direct. The Bratislava International Airport is an accessible airport that also caters for passengers with reduced mobility. The Schengen states have jointly agreed on which countries 'citizens are required to present a visa. Each Schengen state decides which passports and travel documents it accepts from different countries' citizens.

Participants who require a Schengen visa must contact the competent diplomatic or consular authorities of Slovakia and apply for a Schengen short-stay visa at least seven (7) weeks prior to their intended date of arrival in Slovakia. In countries where Slovakia does not have diplomatic or consular representation, visa applications can be submitted to the consular authority of a State party to the Schengen Agreement acting on behalf of Slovakia in the country concerned.
